I am Hollie Hazon-Dodd, a registered Physiotherapist, specialising in working with clients who have pre-existing (or suspect) diagnoses of chronic pain and fatigue conditions, such as hypermobile Ehlers Danlos (hEDS), fibromyalgia and non-specific/chronic low back pain among others.
People are often told by health professionals that exercise is important to manage pain, but it can be very hard knowing where to start when limited by pain and long-term deconditioning, and how to confidently progress.
I support clients in developing holistic, long-term and sustainable approach to movement, health and exercise focused on their goals. We incorporate specific rehabilitation exercises as one part of a whole body workout, which may work on things like range of movement, stability and strength, balance, breath control or cardiovascular fitness.
I also help people build pacing strategies that work for them, figure out what their ‘energy envelope’ looks like, provide pain education and can signpost referrals where necessary.
My clinic is mainly held remotely, although I can do limited home visits local to Lymington, Hampshire (UK).
